I'm a Web3 noob...where do I start?
Web3 is a new internet paradigm that is distinct from "Web2" in that it prioritizes ownership of the many vs. the few—decentralization vs. centralization. It enables peer-to-peer transactions governed by coded contracts that live on a blockchain—a.k.a. smart contracts—rather than transactions being governed by centralizing forces like banks and governments and large tech companies that make money selling your data. These contracts, and their transactions, can be viewed and audited by anyone which offers a level of trust unparalleled in traditional financial markets. Technically, when you mint a DigiCar™ directly with us or buy one on the secondary market, you are interacting with a smart contract that we wrote and that enables your ownership of the digital assets we create. The contract allows you to own, sell, transfer, or burn your DigiCars™ at will with no strings attached and your privacy intact. It is very important to DYOR and understand how to custody your own digital assets. It is very simple, and you need to be diligent to always practice good internet security.
How do I buy a DigiCar™?
You'll need two things before you can buy a DigiCar™ — Ethereum and a crypto wallet (we recommend the MetaMask wallet). To buy Ethereum, you'll want to use a reputable exchange like Coinbase or Binance to exchange your fiat currency (eg dollars) for Ethereum in the amount you'll need to cover the cost of however many DigiCars™ you want + a little more to cover transaction fees (aka "gas") on the network. Then you'll need to create a free crypto wallet and transfer the Ethereum needed to cover your purchase to it. Whether you are minting a new DigiCar™ from our website or snagging one on OpenSea from a current collector, you will use your crypto wallet to connect and then transact. In the Web3 world, you simply use your wallet to connect to websites and apps instead of providing all of your personal information, so your privacy is maintained the whole way.

How will creator royalties be used?
Royalties are used to help fund ongoing operations of the business, activate holder utilities, grow our team, and incentivize deals with other brands and artists. We anticipate reducing the royalty over time as we establish multiple revenue streams.
